on the 19th may05 evening i was writing in my journal and all of a sudden i am made to close my eyes and what do i see! Lord Krishna in the form of a baby -bal krishna as known in India. What a blessing! He is just looking at the floor and at me and gives me the most enchanting smile i have ever seen! He does not get up ,he walks on all four like a small baby ,and stops he is wearing a gold band on his head and a single peacock feather stuck into his head band.This divine sakshatkara(direct experience of god) lasted for three minutes and then i was made to open my eyes , time was around 6.30pm. I feel blessed.

While Swami Rishi was at Old Folsom prison, many, many blessings and openings occurred. As I told the Tai Chi Chih students in class the next week, “What your mind thinks happened while you were with him is only maybe 20% of the blessings. His energy of love has penetrated your heart and soul, as well as your body and mind. Invite it to wash fully into your journey of becoming your best possible selves. It will. It has.”

Not knowing why, one man had brought a precious carnelian stone with him and was compelled to ask Swami to bless it when he found himself close to him as everyone was departing the chapel. He told me of the grace and gentleness when Swami Rishi tenderly lifted the stone from his hand and paced it over his third eye and then returned it to him. So much love was communicated. He has now secured the stone on the back side of a pendant right over his heart.

Wind Dancer

So far, yet so close and near
Your presence has been felt here ...

You’ve come to shine your light
You’ve helped others find their sight ...

Like a river to the sea, your spirit is roaming and free
So you flow with love wherever you go
To help humanity grow and know.

Pure consciousness sychronistically dancing
With the wind
Helping all sentient beings to ascend

You graciously blessed my sacred
carnelian stone, that touched
my heart – that love that you shown
You placed it in you hand, then
Upon our brow
And your loving gesture showed me how ...

With love, you moved to its heart beat
And I shall remember you well – until gain we meet ..
So until then, may your light and love

As you compassionately illuminate the worlds dark night ...

let the premordial eternal sound take you deep within in this meditation, so that all that surround you is OUM ,you start with deep breathing and bring your awareness to your breath and are now loosing the sence of time and space .Every intake of breath is taking you deep within and every out breath is through your third eye center and that breath is bringing the oum out through your third eye with great force followed by number of oums and then you are getting completely covered by these oums and then you are getting one with the divine.you remain like that in that blissful state for long and you do not know how long and then your consciousness slowly and beautifully brings you back! Back to this so called Reality!

For April and May, I am blessed to have as a house guest a Hindu spiritual teacher and guide -- Swami Rishi. I have known him and his wife Rajul (Reiki grand master and healer) for 5 years now and they have supported and encouraged my spiritual growth and prison work.

Months ago, as I was speaking with J. in New Folsom about spiritual paths, he mentioned he was a follower of Paramahansa Yogananda. When I mentioned that Swami Rishi would be living with me his whole being lit up. Driving home that day, I was day dreaming of taking Swami Rishi into prison, so I emailed him in India to inquire if he was interested. He definitely was. So the long process of clearances and planning bore beautiful fruit on Thursday.

J. was blessed with some profound personal time of meditation and sharing before the other two Yogananda followers were able to come in off the yard. Then the three of them were able to ask their spiritual questions to a master right in their midst.

We had some clearance challenges at Old Folsom, as his passport name is different from his religious name, but Grace prevailed and we arrived in the Chapel just moment before the yard was recalled. A dozen of so men from my class went into the upper room to get some guidance on their meditation practices and have the benefit of sitting with him, even briefly.

It was a real treat for them and for Swami Rishi.

Are you divine! Of course you are,the moment you realise that "you are that". So what is stopping you from realising your godly self? some one say ,ciecumstances ,lack of time ,lack of proper guidance ,my destiny etc ,etc, but none of this is true. It seems you are not willing to walk on the path which can open for you the divine doors of immence possiilities.
Many have walked on this spiritual path and have attained eternal joy ,peace and fulfillment.They have drenched themselves with divine love and divine grace has showered upon them . Start with self inquiry or devotion or service to humanity or through the path of knowledge and you are getting ready now,remember my friends ,getting ready is the first step journey anyway comes next. So get ready and may god bless you!
